I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Master’s
degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.
My early work as a Children’s and Family Therapist in both Mississippi and Austin, Texas
provided opportunities to work with people of all ages in a variety of challenging life
circumstances. In the years since, I have enjoyed the opportunity to grow personally in my role
as a wife and mom to my daughters and sons who now range in age from preteens to college.
For me, marriage and parenting has been a challenge and a catalyst for seeing myself and the
dynamics of close relationships in new ways. I understand first hand the value of having
someone to listen and facilitate conversations that help us understand one another and
ourselves better.

I am glad to have the opportunity to come alongside others who are interested in growing in
their understanding and ability to live more wholeheartedly. It is an honor to assist those I work
with in identifying and working toward personal and relational goals so that they are better
equipped to move toward greater health and well-being in all areas of life. I believe that our
best chances for positive change are found within the context of supportive, encouraging
relationships. Therefore, my desire is to provide a safe, welcoming opportunity for others to
face and grow through the unique challenges, joys, and sorrows that are part of each life story. I
work with women, couples, families, and children ages 5 and up.

My primary areas of focus:

-Relationship issues
-Marital counseling
-Parenting concerns
-Children’s emotional and behavioral health
-Depression
– Anxiety
-Women’s concerns
