Lauren Stanly is a current graduate student at New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary, pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a
background in nursing, Lauren brings a holistic perspective to her counseling practice,
integrating her medical knowledge with her passion for mental health and well-being.
Lauren has completed coursework in areas such as psychotherapy, assessment, and
counseling ethics and actively engages in ongoing training and professional
development under the guidance of experienced supervisors. Her dedication to
enhancing her skills and knowledge reflects her commitment to providing high-quality
care to her clients.
Prior to pursuing counseling, Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from
Northwestern State University in 2015 and worked as a Registered Nurse in intensive
care. She also serves on staff at her local church, where she serves as Missions
Coordinator.
Lauren is deeply passionate about providing space for individuals and couples seeking
to navigate challenges and experience healing and hope, even in the most unexpected
places. She believes in creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to
explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, finding
joy in the simple moments of life.
