Lauren views counseling as a unique opportunity to provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to process life’s many challenges. As a LPC, Lauren strives to build a trusting relationship with her clients and practice ethical therapeutic interventions to support them on their healing journeys. She especially enjoys working with young adults, young moms, and those experiencing grief as these populations are typically navigating significant life transitions. Lauren believes that with adequate support, these transitions can be navigated with grace and confidence. Her Christian faith is very important to her and she believes spirituality is at the center of wellness by God’s design. However, she is open to working with clients of all backgrounds regardless of their personal beliefs.

Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2016. She went on to earn her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from LSU in 2019. Since then, she has worked in inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient therapy settings.

Lauren’s goal for the therapeutic process is to meet clients where they are while assisting them in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are impacting their ability to thrive in life. It is a privilege and joy for her to walk alongside her clients through the most sensitive and sacred areas of their hearts and minds.
